Tingling Episode 2: The Meeting Everyone Was Dreading

Episode 2 of the Tingling web series does something almost no Indian workplace comedy has done properly before — it takes the Big Meeting seriously enough to make it very, very funny.

The setup

The whole company is called into the conference room. The CEO looks serious. The CDO looks confused. The CFO looks into the camera like it personally owes him money. Rohan from social media has thoughts about his salary. HR has thoughts about her Zara bill.

Why it works

Every employee who has ever survived a 'quick town hall' will recognise the exact choreography of this episode — the rumour, the PIP, the 'don't panic', the 2.3% hike. It's painfully accurate. That's the joke.

We will not tell you what happens by the end of the episode. We will only say: someone's phone rings, and the plot moves.
